Job Summary:
As a WordPress Developer, you will work on back-end and front-end development including WordPress themes and plugins, site integration and security updates. To be successful you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills.
Responsibilities
- Create website architecture.
- Design and build website front-end and manage website back-end including database and server integration
- Generate/use WordPress themes and plugins
- Troubleshoot content issues
- Conduct WordPress trainings
- Monitor live website’s performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a WordPress Developer
- Excellent knowledge and proven work experience of PHP
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery
- Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN
- Proven experience with SEO of WordPress websites
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
