Role Overview
As a Lead you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic initiatives in the field of influencer marketing and media/creative strategy. As a seasoned professional with years of experience in the industry, you will leverage your expertise to develop impactful strategies and build strong relationships with our clients and agency partners, and to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement creative, content, PR and narrative building strategies in response to business briefs specifically for Influencer Marketing. You will be a thought leader when it comes to the Creator Economy. This position requires a deep understanding of media and creative strategy, influencer marketing, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients and agencies to understand their goals, target audience, and brand messaging.
- Conduct in-depth market/macro research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, consumer insights and competitor strategies that inform our strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain our strategic plan, including long-term goals, objectives, and action plans
- Monitor the progress of key initiatives and provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and analytics teams, to develop integrated influencer marketing campaigns.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of campaigns, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and provide actionable insights to optimise future strategies.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging the team to think creatively and strategically.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree ideally in business, marketing, economics, engineering, computer science field with 6-8 years of experience in strategy consulting, in-house strategy at a tech company/startup, media/pr agency or a similar analytically rigorous role.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience in data analysis and problem solving. You should be a structured thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity and is able to break down complex problems into well-structured tangible components
- Strong understanding of influencer marketing trends, best practices, and industry dynamics with a proven track record of successfully crafting and executing influencer marketing or creative strategies.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client and agency partnerships.
- Superior time management and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and the ability to rapidly adapt to a changing scope and evolving business requirements
- Experience in managing influencer campaigns across various social media platforms.
- Proficiency in using influencer marketing platforms and tools.
- Familiarity with data analytics and campaign performance measurement.
- Ability to adapt to changing industry trends and client needs.
- Having a diversity of experience in both the Public and Government sector is a plus.
